Coaching

"People who are questioned, as long as they are questioned well, find the right answers by themselves.”

Socrate

Originally, coaching means “to lead an important person from where he or she is to where he or she wants to go“.

Developed in the United States in the 1950s, and imported to Europe in the early 1980s, coaching was already practiced in ancient Greece. In particular, the philosopher Socrates considered that everyone carries knowledge within them without being aware of it. For this reason, he adopted maieutic, that is the art of asking the right questions rather than finding answers.

Today, coaching is a methodology for supporting a person or a team to develop their potential in a professional or private environment. Through questioning, the person becomes the main actor of his or her change process and manages to find his or her own solutions, to better manage stress and emotions, and to regain self-esteem and confidence.
